Before Vikings ends its run on TV, the cast is getting together for a special panel during San Diego Coimc-Con@Home 2020. The virtual version of the massively popular convention is slated to have online programming running from July 23-26.

“Vikings: A Look Back with The Lothbroks” will be released on Friday, July 24, at 11 am PT. The panel will include series Showrunner, sole Writer, and Executive Producer Michael Hirst alongside cast members Travis Fimmel (Ragnar Lothbrok), Katheryn Winnick (Lagertha), Alex Ludwig (Bjorn Ironside), Clive Standen (Rollo) and Jordan Patrick Smith (Ubbe). We can expect to hear about their favorite moments from the last six and a half seasons as well as favorite Comic-Con interactions, and what makes Vikings an extraordinary show. The discussion will be moderated by Kate Hahn, Senior Writer, TV Guide Magazine.

Fans will also get to see an exclusive clip from the second half of season six, the final season of Vikings which will be released by History in Fall 2020. But it won’t be farewell forever to Vikings content. Netflix has picked up a sequel to the show, Vikings: Valhalla. No air date has been announced.

Vikings has truly been a staple at San Diego Comic-Con over the years and has provided some of the most interactive experiences for fans. One year, fan witnessed a Vikings Funeral that paraded through the streets of the Gaslamp District and culminated at the Harbor. They’ve also had the chance to learn how to throw an ax, ride a Vikings Longship, and have their fate foretold by the Seer. While the COVID-19 pandemic has caused the cancellation of Comic-Con this year, fans can look forward to one last experience with the Vikings team on July 24.

Comic-Con@Home panels will be available to view on Comic-Con’s YouTube page at https://www.youtube.com/user/ComicCon.
