John Barrowman Bringing Back Captain Jack For Doctor Who Holiday Special

Captain Jack is back, everyone!

While we don’t know when the upcoming holiday episode of Doctor Who will air, we do know that it’s bringing back a fan favorite face.

In a new 15-second teaser, we see Jack (John Barrowman) grinning from ear to ear when hearing the classic TARDIS sound. Previously, Barrowman reprised his role in the series 12 episode, “Fugitive of the Judoon”. Now, let’s hope that Jodie Whittaker, who plays the Thirteenth Doctor, and Barrowman share the screen together, okay?

Barrowman released a statement on his return.

“Putting on Jack’s coat and setting foot back on the set of Doctor Who was just like going back home. It’s always thrilling to play Captain Jack. He’s a character very close to my heart who changed my life, and to know the fans love him as much as I do makes his return even sweeter. I hope everyone enjoys Jack’s heroic adventure with Thirteen.”

“Revolution of the Daleks” will air at some point during the holiday season.
