What is it about vampires that draws us to them? What does it say about the human psyche that we’re so drawn to creatures that seem so anathema to us?
Juliet Landau, who was Drusilla in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, sets to answer that question in her upcoming film, A Place Among the Dead. In the upcoming project, Landau takes on an alter-ego version of herself as she discusses the topic with people who have their vampiric bona fides: Gary Oldman, Joss Whedon, Ron Perlman, Robert Patrick, Lance Henriksen, and Anne Rice.
Entertainment Weekly exclusively released the trailer, which you can view on their website.
While the film will delve into our cultural obsession with vampires, it also shows when that obsession turns to madness. We’re talking about vampiric killers because it’s time to go true crime. Because you always need to explore what happens when things get a little too wild.
A Place Among the Dead will be released on PVOD on Nov. 9.
