Hulk coming to TV?
One of the announced Disney+ Marvel series is She-Hulk, who is the cousin of Bruce Banner in comics. Jennifer Walters is a meek lawyer who turns big and green following a blood transfusion by her cousin. Walters, however, has pretty great control over herself from the outset.
After the five-year timeskip in Avengers: Endgame so does Bruce (Mark Ruffalo) who became “Professor Hulk” after making his inner peace with the Other Guy. Now it looks like he may be hopping over to She-Hulk for an appearance.
Ruffalo teased the possibility during C2E2 convention this past weekend in Chicago. He said that he was in preliminary talks to appear in the She-Hulk series.
This, of course, means that it’s not a done deal. Talks this early could always break down, but we’re pretty optimistic. Ruffalo sounded excited about the project.
Given how important that Bruce and the Hulk is to origin of Jennifer Walters’ powers, they kind of need him for it to make sense. Though we’re sure there are ways around it.
While Bruce is important in how Jenn gets her powers, she’s largely left to her own devices, including practicing law while big and green.
She-Hulk is slated for a debut in 2022.
