We’re always up for seeing Matt Ryan in any sort of Constantine related role whether it be animated or live-action. Needless to say, we’re pretty excited for Justice League Dark: Apokoplips War. The animated film serves as a sequel to the 2017 film.
This one serves to bring more of the Justice League into the title with Superman (Jerry O’Connell) doing the majority of the speak. Darkseid (Tony Todd) has his sights set on Earth and the heroes have to stop the end of days from coming in a big way.
It looks like they’ll need all the help that they can get with Lex Luthor (Rainn Wilson) teaming up with Superman while Cyborg (Shemar Moore) seems to be hacked by Apokolips itself. We see some impressive magic from Constantine (Matt Ryan, duh), but no speaking from him yet.
Justice League Dark: Apokolips War also stars Taissa Farmiga (American Horror Story) as Raven, Jason O’Mara (The Man in the High Castle) as Batman, Rosario Dawson (Briarpatch) as Wonder Woman, Christopher Gorham (Covert Affairs) as The Flash, Rebecca Romijn (The Librarians) as Lois Lane, Camilla Luddington (Grey’s Anatomy) as Zatanna, Ray Chase (Justice League Dark) as Jason Blood/Etrigan, Roger R. Cross (24) as John Stewart & Swamp Thing, Liam McIntyre (The Flash) as Captain Boomerang, Hynden Walch (Teen Titans Go! Vs. Teen Titans) as Harley Quinn, Stuart Allan (Batman vs. Robin) as Robin/Damian, Sachie Alessio (Batman: Hush) as Lady Shiva, and John DiMaggio (Futurama) as King Shark.
Justice League Dark: Apokolips War did not give a release date, but it will come out in 2020.
