Freeform has confirmed its renewal of The Bold Type, which is exciting news, because Kat, Sutton, and Jane’s journeys are only just beginning.

The Bold Type is currently in its third season and Freeform has now renewed the show for a fourth.

The news came this past week when Freeform participated in Walt Disney Television Upfronts presentation, where the series regular stars Katie Stevens, Aisha Dee, and Meghann Fahy shared the good news over a glass of rosé.

The show follows the close group of friends – Kate (Dee), Sutton (Fahy), and Jane (Stevens) – as they navigate their twenties in New York City. The women work together at Scarlet Magazine, and most of the show centers on their experiences at the women’s magazine. Though the show does cover their lives outside of Scarlet, their work experience is pivotal to the show’s plot.

In the most recent announcement on Freeform, the stars said, “On The Bold Type, we play characters who are determined to succeed in the New York fashion media business. We balance careers, friendship, and love on the daily. But this show is so important to us and our fans because regardless of who you are, we are all just trying to navigate the mess of our lives. And we are so excited to be coming back for season 4! Here’s to more bold stories, friendship, and a whole lot of rosé.”

The show airs on Tuesdays at 8pm on Freeform.
