The hunkiest guy in the ton is going into a fantasy adventure.
Bridgerton star Rege-Jean Page has joined the cast of Dungeons and Dragons, according to The Hollywood Reporter. His fellow castmates include Chris Pine (Wonder Woman), Justice Smith (Detective Pikachu), and Michelle Rodriguez (Fast and Furious franchise).
All that is known at this time is that Page’s role is described as a “leading” one. Currently, details of the film are being kept under strict wraps. It’s uncertain if it will incorporate elements of the game, be straight-up fantasy, have a group of players transported into the role, or set in the world of the game itself.
Jonathan Goldstien & John Francis Daley (Game Night) are set to direct and write a script based on an earlier version of it by Michael Gillo.
Currently, there’s no timeframe on a release for the project. Bridgerton will return to filming in Spring 2021.
