The CW’s Superman And Lois Recasts Morgan Edge With Tyrant’s Adam Rayner

You know the great thing about Crisis on Infinite Earths? You get to recast roles that went to people who were outed as major d-bags in the aftermath.

Like with Superman & Lois, the new CW series has announced its Morgan Edge. Edge was previously played by Adrian Pasdar on Supergirl in season 3. After his time on the show, however, it was revealed that he was THE WORST to his ex-wife, Natalie Maines of The Chicks. She wrote a song about him called “Gaslighter”.

So, obviously, a recast was in order for the new series. New Earth, new Morgan Edge.

According to TVLine, Adam Rayner (Tyrant) will play the role in the upcoming series. He’s described as “an intelligent, eloquent and impassioned self-made mogul who’s innate ability to motivate is the means to his success and others’ demise.”

Superman & Lois will premiere on Feb. 23 at 9/8c on The CW.
