Millie Bobby Brown and Netflix are continuing their very lucrative partnership. Now that Brown has done sci-fi with Stranger Things and something more historical with Enola Holmes, it’s time for her to go full on fantasy with the upcoming film, Damsel.
According to EW, Brown will star and executive produce the project. Directed Juan Carlos Fresnadillo (28 Weeks Later) and written by Dan Mazeau (Wrath of the Titans), Damsel follows Princess Elodie (Brown), who thinks she’s marrying Prince Henry but is really being sacrificed to a dragon. Why do princesses always have such smart parents?
So far Brown is the only one cast in the project.
Netflix seems happy to continue keep Brown around for more projects for them. Enola Holmes had 78 million individual user accounts watching it within the first month of its release. Stranger Things is, well, Stranger Things.
Definitely think Damsel sounds like a really interesting idea though!
