We officially have a release date for Disney+’s first MCU series, WandaVision!
According to EW, WandaVision will premiere on Jan. 15, 2021. This is something of a shock for MCU fans. As most rumors put the release date in Dec. 2020. With most MCU films and series moving over to 2021, it makes sense that Disney and Marvel would want to kick the new year off strong.
Hopefully, this is the right foot that we need.
The series follows Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) and a somehow alive Vision (Paul Bettany), who are newlyweds living a sitcom perfect life in the town of Westview. With things getting out of whack and reality seeming to bend, it looks like things are not quite as sitcom perfect as the happy couple would like to believe.
In a little 30 second announcement on Disney+ Twitter, we see how the televisions change to reflect the era along with some serious reality warping of the surroundings. (Why are we feeling House of M vibes big time here?)

Kathryn Hahn, Teyonah Parris, and Kat Dennings also star with Matt Shakman directing all the episodes and Jac Schaeffer serving as head writer.
