Juliet Landau’s A Place Among The Dead Explores Our Fascination With Vampires

What is it about the vampire that is like the ultimate narcissist?

Juliet Landau, who was Drusilla in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, sets to answer that question in her upcoming film, A Place Among the Dead. In the upcoming project, Landau takes on an alter-ego version of herself as do many people who have their vampiric bona fides: Gary Oldman, Joss Whedon, Ron Perlman, Robert Patrick, Lance Henriksen, and Anne Rice.

Entertainment Weekly exclusively released the trailer, which you can view on their website.

The film will delve into the repercussions of growing up under the sway of narcissism and evil. It shows how being reared in that darkness primes one to make destructive choices. We’re talking vampires, true crime and madness. Because you always need to explore what happens when things get a little too wild.

A Place Among the Dead will be released on PVOD Oct 30th in the US at Laemmle Theatres and Nov 9 the rest of the world.
