Watchmen And Schitt’s Creek Win Big At The 2020 Emmy Awards: HBO Dominates The Night With The Most Wins

TV’s golden night gave us a lot to talk about as the winners of the 72nd Emmy Awards were finally revealed this past Sunday.

Much to the delight of TV fans everywhere, COVID-19 couldn’t stop this award show from happening, and while there definitely was a different feel to the kudocast overall (since all of the nominees and winners were zooming in from their homes), there was still a lot to cheer about and celebrate. HBO’s hit limited series Watchmen , who led the pack of nods with 26 this year, took home some of the show’s biggest wins. and a lot of the show’s actors woke up to surprise nominations as there were some first timers thrown in the mix.

Schitt’s Creek, who also racked up quite the haul in nods as all four of the Roses scored a nomination, also won big by taking home all of the comedy wins of the evening.
