Trailer For The Craft: Legacy Brings Some Major Witchy Vibes To The Sequel

It’s time to return to meet the weirdos yet again in the trailer for The Craft: Legacy.

The film takes place decades after the original 1996 film, which starred Fairuza Balk, Robin Tunney, Neve Campbell, and Rachel True as teenage girls who fall prey to the darker arts of magic. In the sequel, The Craft: Legacy, we meet the next group of teen witches who get in over their heads with power: Cailee Spaeny (Bad Times at the El Royale), Gideon Adlon (Blockers), Lovie Simone (Greenleaf), and Zoey Luna (Pose).

Things get bad as they all experiment with their newfound power, which looks like it leads to death, defeating bullies, and pixie sparkles. That definitely wasn’t what we were expecting.

There are also nods to the original film from a picture of Fairuza Balk’s Nancy Downs to the classic line “we are the weirdos, mister” that caps the trailer. The Craft: Legacy was directed by Zoe Lister-Jones and also features Michelle Monaghan, David Duchovny, and Nicholas Galitzine.

The Craft: Legacy will be released on Halloween.
