Ryan Reynolds has convinced Rick Moranis to resurrect his live-action acting career!
Well, for a commercial for Mint Mobile’s unlimited plan anyway. It doesn’t last that long.
In the commercial, Moranis, best known for his roles in Ghostbusters and Little Shop of Horrors, is welcomed back to the screen by Reynolds after a two-decade hiatus in live-action projects.
“So, what do you want me to do? You want me to say something about Mint? I’ve really got to get a phone.” Moranis asked.
Reynolds, however, just admitted that he got Moranis to come on because he wanted to fanboy over him. Which, you know, same.
Moranis quickly leaves after an awkward silence. It’s pretty great. It just shows that Reynolds has some truly great commercial game.
