You know what the teen musical drama needed? Ghosts.
We’re down with that. In the trailer for Netflix’s upcoming series Julie and the Phantoms, we meet Julie (Madison Reyes), who is struggling after the death of her mother. Her passion for music is rediscovered when three ghosts (Charlie Gillespie, Owen Patrick Joyner, and Jeremy Shada) start haunting her mother’s recording studio. Just go with it. Julie is more than ready to find her inspiration again with the help of her new friends, who died in 1995.
Julie and the Phantoms is based on the Brazilian series, Julie e os Fantasmas. Dan Cross and Dave Hoge (The Thundermans, Pair of Kings) are the showrunners for the series. Booboo Stewart, Cheyenne Jackson, Carlos Ponce, Sonny Bustamante, Jadah Marie, Sacha Carlson, and Savannah Lee May also star.
Julie and the Phantoms heads to Netflix on Sept. 10.
