Welcome back to Clone High, everyone.
This early-aughts satire about the lives of the teenage clones of history’s most important figures that was criminally underrated and short-lived has been given a reboot from MTV Studios, according to TVLine. Series creators Bill Lawrence, Chris Miller, and Phil Lord are on board to “reimagine” the series.
Such figures on the show were Abraham Lincoln, Joan of Arc, Cleopatra, and more. No network has been attached at this time. Though we won’t be surprised if it stays in the CBSViacom umbrella.
Chris McCarthy, President of ViacomCBS Entertainment and Youth Group released a statement that read.
“We’re thrilled to reunite with Phil Lord, Chris Miller and Bill Lawrence to re-imagine this cult classic as we rapidly grow our portfolio of beloved and iconic adult animation series.”
Clone High originally ran from 2002 to 2003 in Canada before heading Stateside.
