If you’ve been looking for some great Korean films following Parasite, then chances are someone or somewhere has recommended 2016’s Train to Busan.
Once you’ve seen zombies on train, then the next logical step is do Fast & Furious but make it zombie. We’re totally here for this in the wild and tense thrilled ride of Train to Busan Presents: Peninsula. The events take place four years after the events of the first film.
In it, we follow a soldier named Jung-seok (Gang Dong-won), who has been given a special mission in the zombie wasteland: retrieve and survive. When Jung-seok stumbles across a band of survivors, their survival depends on whether the best or worst of humanity can prevail in such a highly dangerous situation.
Train to Busan filmmaker Yeon Sang-Ho returns to direct the feature.
Train to Busan Present: Peninsula will be released in the US later this summer.
