Get ready to stock up on some pizza, dudes!
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is getting a new film franchise courtesy of Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. This all new CG picture is the first TMNT film since the 2016, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows. It wasn’t very good if you were wondering.
According to a press release from Nickelodeon, the movie will be directed Jeff Rowe and written by Brendan O’Brian.
Brian Robbins, President of Kids & Family for ViacomCBS, said, “Adding Seth, Evan, and James’ genius to the humor and action that’s already an integral part of TMNT is going to make this a next-level reinvention of the property. I’m looking forward to seeing what they do, and I know that Ramsey Naito and her team are excited to take the Nick Animation Studio into another great direction with their first-ever CG-animated theatrical.”
This isn’t the only TMNT project in development. Nick and Netflix are also partnering on a film for the current TMNT series, Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
