Netflix Drops The Trailer For Its Revival Of Unsolved Mysteries

Unsolved Mysteries is back, baby.

People who grew up during the 80s and 90s or who watched a lot of syndicated television while sick at home will remember the original 12 season run, which was hosted by Robert Stack. Unsolved Mysteries took a look at everything odd and unexplained from true crime to demonic possession. At the end of the episode, you, the viewer, could help as well.

Unsolved Mysteries was so good. It’s fondly remembered to this day with brief attempts at revivals at Lifetime and the defunct Spike taking place as well. Netflix snatched up a revival of the series, bringing a more cinematic spin on things as well.

With the original Unsolved Mysteries producers Terry Dunn Meurer and John Cosgrove on board plus Stranger Things Shawn Levy, it promises to be an exciting project. Now we have the first trailer and a release for the first batch of episodes, July 1st.

In it, we have murder, spooky houses, and aliens. It looks a lot more polished, but oh that theme. It looks good. We’re here for it.

The first six episodes of Unsolved Mysteries will drop on July 1. If you want to stream the original series online, Unsolved Mysteries is available on Hulu and Amazon Prime (via IMDbTV).
