Former Glee Star Samantha Ware Calls Out Lea Michele Who Made Her Time On Glee “Hell”

Former Glee star Samantha Ware is not having Lea Michele pay lip service to the Black Lives Matter movement with the sort of behind-the-scenes bad behavior she experienced while filming Glee‘s final season.

Ware, who played Jane Hayward, has appeared in Hamilton following her exit for the series along with roles in Margot vs Lily and What/If. When Michele made a tweet in support of Black Lives Matter in the wake of the tragic and unconscionable murder of George Floyd, Ware fired back against her former co-star.

“LMAO REMEMBER WHEN YOU MADE MY FIRST TELEVISON GIG A LIVING HELL?!?! CAUSE ILL NEVER FORGET. I BELIEVE YOU TOLD EVERYONE THAT IF TOU HAD THE OPPORTUNITY YOU WOULD “SHIT IN MY WIG!” AMONGST OTHER TRAUMATIC MICROAGRESSIONS THAT MADE ME QUESTION A CAREER IN HOLLYWOOD…,” Ware wrote on Twitter.

Other actors who were on Glee or were meant to be, quickly rallied around Ware.

Former Glee star Alex Newell, who currently stars in Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, was a big supporter as well.

Former Drag Race contestant Willam also chimed in.

“Lea treated me so subhuman i left the set of Glee. Pass the [popcorn emoji]”

An actor, Dabier, who appeared in Glee in one episode, wrote, “GIRL YOU WOULDNT LET ME SIT AT THE TABLE WITH THE OTHER CAST MEMBERS CAUSE “I DIDNT BELONG THERE” F— YOU LEA”

Amber Riley, who played Mercedes Jones on the series, didn’t say a word, but the gifs spoke volumes.

Michele is already feeling the pushback from these stories about her unacceptable behavior on the set of Glee. HelloFresh, a recipe delivery service that she partnered with, terminated their contract with her effective immediately on Tuesday.

“HelloFresh does not condone racism nor discrimination of any kind. We are disheartened and disappointed to learn of the recent claims concerning Lea Michele. We take this very seriously, and have ended our partnership with Lea Michele, effective immediately.”

This morning Michele took to her Instagram account, providing a lengthy response to Ware’s tweet.
