The Mandalorian attracted some big talent for its first season. From Jon Favreau (Iron Man, The Lion King) creating, directing, and writing for the series, there was a list of stellar directorial talent involved as well from Deborah Chow to Taika Waititi, who lent their talents behind the camera.
It looks like with the success and acclaim of The Mandalorian, season two is attracting even more talent behind the camera.
Peyton Reed (Ant-Man) and Robert Rodriguez (Desperado) both announced that they stepped behind the camera for the (now completed) season two of The Mandalorian. In order to celebrate May the 4th yesterday, Rodriguez and Reed took to Twitter to confirm their involvement and post pictures from behind-the-scenes.
Rodriguez wrote, “I am truly humbled to say I have now had the very rare privilege of directing the biggest star in the universe. @StarWars #TheMandalorian #MayThe4th #StarWarsDay”
