Catch is, the powers only work when they’re together.
Emily V. Gordon penned the script for the film with Johnson, Blunt, Kevin Mishe, and Dany and Hiram Garcia all serving as producers for the project. It’s sparked a bidding war amongst several studios. Deadline said that sources say that Netflix has emerged a likely frontrunner for the project.
Jungle Cruise, Johnson and Blunt’s first outing together, was scheduled for July 24, 2020. It was, however, moved to July 30, 2021 due to well the general state of the world.
