If you’ve been craving some good ol’ YA vampire media, then look now further.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Universal has picked up the film rights for Crave. Haven’t heard of it? That’s fine. It’s an upcoming YA vampire novel from author Tracy Wolff. Wolff’s previous credits include While You Were Dating and His Royal Hotness series. She has total of 64 novels across a variety of genres along with being a former English professor.
According to publisher Entangled Publishing, Liz Pelletier, describes Crave as a paranormal fantasy following a human girl “who finds herself at the center of conflict between many warring factions when she falls for a vampire prince, all told with a decidedly feminist perspective.”
Currently, no one is attached to the project and there’s no release date.
Though if you do want to read Crave while stuck in your COVID induced quarantine, it will be released on Tuesday, April 7.
