Chance The Rapper Leads Quibi’s Punk’d Reboot In Trailer

Honestly, a pandemic may make this the perfect time for Quibi to launch, the upcoming mobile streaming service is pushing its series hard. While we’re still not entirely sold on the viabiity of the app, we have to admit some of the content looks intriguing enough.

Plus, we’re suckers for nostalgia. With the first trailer for upcoming reboot of Punk’d, we see Chance the Rapper take Ashton Kutcher’s place in pranking a bunch of celebrities. Because who doesn’t want to see famous people get pranked?

The roster of those getting punk’d is impressive: Lil Nas X, Adam Devine, Megan Thee Stallion, Ty Dolla $ign, French Montana, Migos, Sabrina Carpenter,  Marsai Martin and Miles Brown, YouTuber Liza Koshy, and TikTok star Addison Rae are all on the block. Scott Disick (Keeping Up With The Kardashians) is going to guest host.

Honestly, though, this sort of format will probably be best suited for Quibi. As in the original Punk’d, the segments were usually split into two 10-minute chunks. Or that’s how we remember it at least. It’s been a minute.

Quibi will also release three bonus episodes of Punk’d to anyone who signs up before April 6. You can know pre-order Quibi and if you sign up before April 30, then you can get 90 days free of the service.
