Reboot Of Steven Spielberg’s Amazing Stories For Apple TV+ Unveils First Trailer

Ready for some pretty Amazing Stories?

Apple TV+’s reboot of the 80s anthology series hailing from Steven Spielberg unleashed its first trailer on Monday, Feb. 17.

It definitely looks pretty wild from a kid’s grandpa (the late Robert Forster) developing superpowers to strange happenings in what looks like a hospital. We’re definitely curious to see what kind of stories will be told in this more traditional anthology format.

Amazing Stories hails from Once Upon a Time creators Eddy Kitsis and Adam Horowitz. Amazing Stories is described as a show that “transport everyday characters into worlds of wonder, possibility and imagination.”

Steven Spielberg will serve as an executive producer for the series, but his involvement is stated to be pretty slim.

Directors for the series include Mark Mylod (Succession, Game of Thrones), Chris Long (The Americans), Michael Dinner (Unbelievable), Sylvain White (The Rookie) and Susanna Fogel (Utopia). Writes include Don Handfield (Knightfall), Richard Rayner (Knightfall), Leah Fong (Once Upon a Time) and Jessica Sharzer (American Horror Story).

The first episode of the series will feature Dylan O’Brien (Teen Wolf), Victoria Pedretti (YOU) and Sasha Alexander (Rizzoli & Isles) on March 6.
