One of the biggest moments of the Arrowverse’s long-awaited crossover event Crisis on Infinite Earths was Ezra Miller’s surprise cameo appearance as Barry Allen.
In the brief scene, we get a kind of confirmation of another multiverse(?) when Miller and Grant Gustin’s Barry Allen meet each other. The scene is a little weird, but cool. We have to ask. Will it have an impact on the upcoming Flash movie.
Screenwriter Christina Hodson, who will pen The Flash, talked to Comicbook.com on her and director Andy Muschietti (IT) knew about the cameo.
It turns out that the pair knew that the cameo was coming, Hodson said.
“Of course, cause that would be too much of a surprise if I suddenly saw that on TV.”
So it sounds like that Miller’s Crisis cameo may be folded into The Flash movie. Will Grant Gustin has some kind of cameo of his own? Will Miller say that’s how he got the name the Flash? We’ve got SO MANY QUESTIONS and no one is answering them.
The Flash airs on the CW on Tuesdays at 8/7c. The Flash movie heads to theatres on July 1, 2022.
