Get ready for a very—ahem—bloody good time in the Netflix and BBC co-production of Dracula.
The three part series written by Sherlock co-creators Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss has aired over in the UK the past couple of days. For the rest of the world, however, we have to wait until tomorrow (Sat. Jan 4) to see the series on Netflix.
Oh boy. The final trailer in the lead-up to series is…well…very gory. Granted, what else would we have expected from the Prince of Darkness?
The series stars Claes Bang as the titular character. Oh boy, if you haven’t heard of this Danish actor before, it looks like he’s looking to make a last impression. God, seriously, the trailer is creepy and I will probably be watching this series with my lights on.
Since the series has already aired in the UK, there have been reviews released. Praise from critics have definitely been high. So it’s definitely looking to be the first must watch show of the new decade.
Just, if you’re squeamish, it’s probably better to have a good pillow on hand. In case you need to look away.
Dracula premieres on Netflix on Saturday, Jan 4.
