“Knock, knock, knock on the Gates of Hell.”
When Sabrina Spellman (Kiernan Shipka) knocks, then Hell better answer the goddamn door.
In the music video “Straight to Hell”, a weird quasi-trailer, Shipka sings her motivations, which is go to Hell in order to save her boyfriend, Nicholas Scratch (Gavin Leatherwood). At the end of season two, Nicholas Scratch bound Lucifer (Luke Cook) to his soul so they could stop the Apocalypse from happening. Following this Lilith (Michelle Gomez) was given the crown of Hell by Sabrina and Nick was taken into Hell in order to be hidden away so Lucifer couldn’t get out.
Not Sabrina and her friends (Ross Lynch, Jaz Sinclair, Lachlan Watson) are planning on going to Hell to save Sabrina’s boyfriend. The song pretty much nails that in along with some nice first looks into part three as a whole from voodoo to demonic politics to Zelda (Miranda Otto) as the new High Priestess.
The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina returns for Part 3 on Friday, Jan. 24 on Netflix.
