Filming for one of the many upcoming MCU television shows heading to Disney+ is underway with Loki. Tom Hiddleston posted a video the his Instagram showing him prep for the upcoming series.

The project, like many Marvel series, has kept details tightly underwraps. Including casting, we did learn that Sophia di Martino (Flowers) joined the series several months ago. Since then…nothing.

Until today that is.

Comicbook.com first reported that Owen Wilson (Wedding Crashers) has joined the cast of the upcoming TV series. Not much is known about his role, but is a big part.

Wilson is best known for his work in films such as Wedding Crashers, the Cars franchise, and The Grand Budapest Hotel.

Loki stars Hiddleston as the title character. Following a Loki from an alternate timeline created due to the time travel shenanigans of Avengers: Endgame, we follow the character as he time travels.

Michael Waldron (Rick and Morty) writes the six-episode series while Kate Herron (Sex Education) directing the six episodes as well.

Loki will be released sometime in 2021.
