One of the best treats a Lucifan can get is when Tom Ellis sings.
Over the course of four seasons, fans have been treated to the vocal stylings of Tom Ellis. They’re all pretty amazing because he’s just a really good singer. Fans have been begging for years for two things: 1) a soundtrack album and 2) a musical episode.
The second one is honestly what most fans of most shows ask for if the cast is musically inclined.
Today, with Entertainment Tonight, showrunners Joe Henderson and Ildy Modrovich offer up a major treat for the fans who have been asking for a musical episode for years: confirmation. In the show’s final season, we are getting that musical episode which will be an alternate universe piece in black and white with alternate versions of the characters.
An image released by ET shows an alternate version of Maze (Lesley Ann Brandt) and Lucifer singing in the 40s.
Talking with Ellis, he teased that the episode will be populated with “wildly different” characters than fans are expecting. “The thing about Lucifer is that he’s timeless, so he’s been coming back to Earth all this time. There’s an element to Lucifer where he seems to be from the Oscar Wilde period. And to see the other characters fall back into that style is quite interesting.”
I’m so excited.
Lucifer season 5 is currently in production.
