Marvel and Sony have split this summer with Spider-Man being removed from the MCU for now but that doesn’t mean we still do not have things to look forward to from our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.
Case in point, this past weekend Spider-Man: Far From Home was re-released back into theaters with an “extended cut” that highlights some deleted scenes and gave fans a few more minutes of Spidey enjoyment. Just like the Avengers: Endgame re-release, fans must have a keen eye as you may not really notice what has been added to the extended cut.
If you do not have the opportunity to make it back out to the theaters to check out what is new in the movie, thankfully, the extended scenes have made their way online. You can check them out below for your viewing pleasure.
While watching the deleted scenes may feel a little bittersweet given Spidey’s new future with Sony at the helm, fans can take comfort in knowing that Tom Holland is still going to be Peter Parker for at least two more new films. Additionally, there are still reports running around that deals are still being hashed out so Spidey may only be temporarily gone from the MCU.
Here’s hoping that is the case as Holland’s Peter Parker (which was the late Stan Lee’s favorite) is one we will never forget.
Spider-Man: Far From Home is slated to be released on Digital HD on September 17th and on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-Ray, and DVD on October 1st.
