The wait is over and the new Max Martin musical & Juliet has opened. The show is running at Manchester’s Opera House Theatre until October 12, before it transfers to London’s Shaftesbury Theatre.

This week the news keeps coming. First up, it has been announced that the official cast Recording will be released on November 20. The track listing gives fans the first look at what songs from Martin’s extensive back catalogue is going to be featured.

As expected there are loads of songs from Backstreet Boys, P!nk, Katy Perry, and Bon Jovi, and there is no doubt that some of the versions will be totally different to the originals. The OCR news also came with the release of Miriam-Teak Lee’s awesome version of “Roar” which sounds amazing and if the rest of the show will sound phenomenal.

Yesterday (September 11),the first photos of the cast were released, and it gave us the first real look at what we can expect from the show. The costumes are a blend of modern and traditional Shakespearean dress, which is definitely not what I expected, but got to love the fact the team behind & Juliet are constantly surprising us.

Check out the cast photos below:

& Juliet official Cast Recording can be pre-ordered here. “Roar” is available to listen to on Spotify and all other major music platforms.
