With a crossover this big and complex, it’s unsurprising that Crisis On Infinite Earths is already filming.
This five-hour event is a culmination of years of storytelling through various shows in the Arrowverse, especially amped up by last year’s Elseworlds crossover.
A lot of DC TV actors are joining the event, such as Burt Ward (Robin from Batman ’66) and Kevin Conroy (Batman IRL). One bit of casting news that has fans most excited is the Smallville one. Tom Welling and Erica Durance will reprise their roles as Clark Kent and Lois Lane. (Michael Rosenbaum was also offered a chance to return, but he declined.)
It looks like the reunion is well under way. Durance posted a photo to her Instagram, which showed her and Welling reunited. Welling is even wearing the red flannel of the earlier seasons. (I screamed in joy.)
She captioned it with: “So, I was just minding my own business, and I ran into this guy. Laughed until I cried! So much fun.”
Check out the picture below.
Fans will learn what Lois and Clark have been up to in the years since Smallville ended its run.
Crisis On Infinite Earths will air on three nights in December 2019 (Supergirl on Sunday, Dec. 8, Batwoman on Monday, Dec. 9 and The Flash on Tuesday, Dec. 10) and will conclude on Tuesday, Jan. 14 2020 with Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow.
