It’s Oliver Queen vs Clark Kent In This “Elseworlds” Deleted Scene From The Flash

With “Crisis on Infinite Earths” the upcoming crossover for the year, it’s going to be a huge deal in the Arrowverse.

Even so, however, we still look back to “Elseworlds” fondly. Not only because it will feed into parts of “Crisis” event, but because it was a fun crossover. It was nice bit of levity to add with Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Barry (Grant Gustin) life swapping.

Apparently, there was some footage cut from the crossover as well.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Oliver, who had Barry’s powers, raced Clark Kent (Tyler Hoechlin) around the Smallville farm of Earth-38. It’s a nod to the race that Flash and Superman have done in comics to see who was truly the Fastest Man Alive.

Kara (Melissa Benoist) and Barry had their own little “race” in the crossover episode “Worlds Finest” in the first season of Supergirl so that Kara can help Barry return home.

In the clip, we see Clark teach Oliver how to use his newfound powers without, um, the whole shooting him full of arrows part. This is why we go to Superman for training.

This clip will be included in The Flash: The Complete Fifth Season DVD and Blu-ray set, which will be released on August 27th. Check it out below.
