Katee Sackhoff Returns To Space In Trailer For Netflix’s Another Life

Katee Sackhoff’s sci-fi Netflix drama, Another Life, dropped its first trailer today.

It definitely has all the makings of bad times for Sackhoff’s crew going into space. Ominous voiceover? Check. Claustrophobic hallways? Check. Brief flashes of danger and violence with no context? Check.

We also get to see Selma Blair look glamorous af. That’s not a bad thing. It’s the opposite of a bad thing.

The show follows astronaut Niko Breckinridge (Sackhoff), who is searching for alien life with her young crew. She and her team are in space to explore the origins of an alien artifact that landed on Earth. While Breckinridge is in space, her husband (Justin Chatwin) tries to make first contact and study the object back on Earth.

Of course, Niko’s team may be in more danger than imagine. Their investigation will lead them to “unimaginable danger on what might very well be a one-way mission.”

Check out the trailer below. Prepare yourself for the horrors of space. (Isn’t that what these things always boil down to?)

Another Life will also feature Tyler Hoechlin (Supergirl), Samuel Anderson (Doctor Who), Blu Hunt (The Originals), and Elizabeth Ludlow (The Walking Dead).

The 10-episode series was created by Aaron Martin (Slasher) and executive produced by Noreen Helpern (Alias Grace).

Another Life debuts on Netflix on July 25th.
