We have a new Spider-Man movie coming out in the next couple weeks.
We’re thrilled to see smol bean and awkward nerd, Peter Parker (Tom Holland) fight his way through Europe (and possibly the multiverse). We’re also super-excited to see how Holland will get through the press tour without spoiling anything.
No matter how excellent Spider-Man: Far From Home will be, we’re probably going to be wishing for the sequel for the 2018 Academy Award Winner, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
Holland recently shared that he would like to see a sort of live-action version of Spider-Verse and unite with his fellow Spider-Men Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire.
Speaking with Jake Hamilton on the subject, he said.
“Of course I would love to make a movie with those guys, it would be so cool! It would be amazing, it would be really, really cool. And it’s something that the fans really want. So whether Marvel and Sony decided to do that, it’s up to them. It’s not up to me, I can’t walk in like ‘Kevin [Feige], this is what we’re doing on the next one.’ But it would be really awesome.”
Hey, they brought in the multi-verse. If they can get Maguire and Garfield on board, then we’re here for it. Oh it will definitely hit us in the feels several times over though.
Spider-Man: Far From Home will be released on July 2nd.
