Two fan favorite characters are about to get a bump in parts three and four in The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.
According to TVLine, Lachlan Watson and Gavin Leatherwood will be bumped to series regulars for the Netflix supernatural teen drama. Watson, who identifies as non-binary, plays Sabrina’s (Kiernan Shipka) BFF Theo on the series, who came out as trans in the second part of the series. Leatherwood plays the oh-so-dreamy Nick Scratch, who bond Lucifer to his body and was taken to Hell in the finale.
Needless to say, it’s going to be interesting time in parts three and four. Theo and Nick Scratch have long been fan favorite characters in the series. So many fans will be pleased.
Leatherwood’s bump gives hope for fans that Sabrina’s rescue mission to Hell will work out okay. (Though given her track record and the fact that the Devil is her actual biological father bound to her boyfriend’s body, it…will probably not go well.)
We don’t know when the series will return, but part three is currently being filmed in Vancouver. Our guess? Probably in October, you gotta go with those witchy vibes in October.
The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina parts one and two currently airs on Netflix.
