Bryce Dallas Howard Might Have Hinted At An Epic Jurassic World 3 Reunion

Everything I’m about to report is speculation and hasn’t been confirmed, but I was so excited to hear about this possible news that I had to come to the people and share my news.

Are you ready for it?

Bryce Dallas Howard was recently ambushed, bless her heart, at the UK premiere of Rocketman with a question about the much anticipated and very secretive Jurassic World III which has yet to begun to filming. Despite not filming yet, Howard was quite obviously excited to share something about the film.

The question, posed by MTV News, was this: “Are you excited at the prospect of sharing some scenes with the OG Jurassic Park people?”

Cue Howard freaking out.

“Yes, very much so. If that happens, I don’t know,” she exclaimed. “I don’t know what’s been confirmed or whatever, but I’ll blink if it’s happening and maybe…”

She did blink a few moments later. At this time, the news is still a rumor until it can be confirmed by Howard, co-star Chris Pratt, or director Colin Trevorrow. Trevorrow has also hinted that fans might see Dr. Alan Grant (Sam Neill), Dr. Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern), and Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) on our screens again. Jurassic World 3 is expected to begin filming sometime this year and might have already started filming, but again, that’s just a rumor.

Either way, Jurassic World 3 has a lot of story left to tell. At the end of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, the dinosaurs, which were brought over to the U.S. as part of black market trading, were released into the wild. With that startling and unexpected ending, some old and haunting statements from the original movie and Dr. Malcolm come to light which makes me even more excited at the prospect of seeing this story played out.

Pratt has said in an interview with MTV News that the story left to tell was enough to “blow [him] away.” Pratt said, “I can’t say anything, but I can tell you when I heard the pitch, I was blown away,” he said.

He went on to say, “I can’t believe we’re going to make that movie, and I can’t believe they found a way to deliver on the promise of the end of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Like, ‘Wait, what? The island has blown up. The animals are out, we can’t put them back in the box. What are we going to do? How are not only these dinosaurs but this technology moving forward going to affect the planet?’ We jump forward, and it’s like, ‘Oh! Oh, right! Oh, damn’. It’s going to be pretty epic… You will not be disappointed.”

The cloning technology perfected by Henry Wu is responsible for cloning a human being with little to no consequence so, no doubt, that will be explored in the third film as well.

Whatever happens in the third film, let’s all give Howard the opportunity to interact with Jeff Goldblum, Laura Dern, and Sam Neil, please? Grant, Sattler, and Malcolm need to make a substantial return to the franchise because they’re the originals and where would we be without them?

Jurassic World 3 is set to hit theatres on June 11, 2021.
