Sebastian Stan Teases Falcon And Winter Soldier Disney+ Streaming Series

Disney+ is still months away from debuting its streaming platform.

Even so, we know some projects that are currently in development. Naturally, fans are excited for the Marvel projects: one about Loki (Tom Hiddleston), one about Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany), and, of course, a Falcon (Anthony Mackie) and Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) series.

Stan and Mackie are always a delight to watch together, especially in press. They’re just funny, charming, and unafraid to wind each other up. Plus, there was a great vitriolic friends relationship in Captain America: Civil War.

Presumably, the events of this series will spin out from Avengers: Endgame.

But the delightful banter the two have shared on press tours is what got the series greenlit, according to Stan.

On The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Stan had this to say, “It only took about four press tours for somebody to get the idea that these two lunatics should have a show ya know. The rumors are…the rumors are true.”

As for working with Mackie? Stan admitted that it’s a crazy blast, “I love him because it’s really hard. Like I always quote Apollo 13 every time I’m with him because it’s like, really working with him is really like riding a psychotic horse in a blazing stable. Like that’s what it is like just hang on and usually if you look at my expressions like… just get a word in now.”

Falcon and Winter Soldier currently does not have a release date.
