What would you do if the girl who you had a crush on grew up to be one of the most powerful women in the world?

That looks to be the question in the trailer for the comedy Long Shot, starring Seth Rogen and Charlize Theron.

The film follows Fred Flarsky (Rogen), an unemployed journalist who enters a sort-of relationship with his childhood crush, Charlotte (Theron). Charlotte grew up to become the U.S. Secretary of State and is a serious presidential candidate.

The trailer mostly focuses on the bizarre courtship between the two. Fred asks Charlotte about her relationship with the Canadian prime minister (Alexander Skarsgard). Charlotte talks about how “guys don’t really want to date women who are more powerful than them.”

There’s also a joke about 69-ing Fidel Castro from Fred. Oh Rogen.

The film cast rounds out with O’Shea Jackson Jr., June Diane Raphael, Ravi Patel, Andy Serkis, Randall Park, Bob Odenkirk and Randy Orton. It was directed by Jonathan Levine. Rogen, Theron, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver and Beth Kono produced.

Long Shot hits theatres on May 3rd.
