We’re in endgame waiting for, well, Endgame.
In one month, Avengers: Endgame will be released worldwide. If you hear that collective intake of breath, then you’re hearing the Marvel fans trying some breathing techniques to keep the feels at bay. It’s not working obviously because we’re a mess of emotions and will be a mess of emotions for the lead-up to the movie and in its immediate aftermath.
As with all films of this nature, today marked the the release of the character posters for the film. We have pretty much everyone, living and dead. Yes, the characters that were “snapped” out of existence by Thanos (Josh Brolin) get their own black and white posters while the surviving characters get color.
And, yes, we get the official confirmation Shuri (Letitia Wright) died in the snap and Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson) did not. Also Pepper (Gwyneth Paltrow) and Happy (Jon Favreau) are still alive.
The tagline for Avengers: Endgame? Avenge The Fallen.
Given the sheer amount of character posters, which total to 32, we’ve split them into two galleries. First set of posters are the survivors of the Snap and second set are those who did not.
Without further ado, the survivors which are Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr), Steve Rogers (Chris Evans), Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Okoye (Danai Gurira), Carol Danvers (Brie Larson), Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner), Wong (Benedict Wong), Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), Rocket (voiced by Bradley Cooper), Nebula (Karen Gillan), Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson), James “Rhodey” Rhodes (Don Cheadle), Pepper Potts, and Happy Hogan.
Now it is time for the gallery of the fallen which are T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman), Shuri (Letitia Wright), Peter Parker (Tom Holland), Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie), Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly), Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), Nick Fury (Samuel L Jackson), Peter Quill (Chris Pratt), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Loki (Tom Hiddleston), Mantis (Pom Klementieff), Vision (Paul Bettany), Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen), Groot (voiced by Vin Diesel), and Drax (Dave Bautista).
Avengers: Endgame will be released on April 26th.
