Avengers: Endgame will officially be released this year. We can’t wait to see on the big screen, if only for the sake of our emotional devastation.

While we’re sure Endgame will bring a fresh wave of tears, we need the closure. We’re ready for it. It’s been over a decade. It’s time.

Today, the first synopsis for Avengers: Endgame was released, courtesy of Disney’s Australian website. Oh boy, we’re already stockpiling on tissues.

“After the devastating events of Avengers: Infinity War (2018), the universe is in ruins due to the efforts of the Mad Titan, Thanos. With the help of remaining allies, the Avengers must assemble once more in order to undo Thanos’ actions and restore order to the universe once and for all, no matter what consequences may be in store.”

Some our faves are gonna die, aren’t they? All of the theories surrounding the film, most of them end with some of the original Avengers line-up dying so a new generation can take root.

In addition to this, fans also got the first look at the full costumes that our main heroes: Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), and Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) will rock for the film. This is courtesy of Orville Redenbacher, which released it as part of promotional tie-ins for the film.

Is it just us or is it weird seeing Hulk wear a shirt? We do, however, love Renner’s hair.
