It’s been a big year and a bit for The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story multi-award winner Darren Criss, both professionally and personally. January 2018 saw the announcement of his engagement to long-time love Mia Swier along with the premiere of the above TV series. Criss’ career-defining turn as spree killer Andrew Cunanan lead to Best Actor accolades at the Emmys, the Golden Globes, Critics’ Choice Awards and, most recently the Screen Actors Guild. There were further celebrations this weekend when Criss tied the knot with Swier.

Joined by close family and friends, including his Glee buddies Chord Overstreet, Lea Michele, Harry Shum Jr and John Stamos, Criss and Swier said “I do” in a ceremony at the Ace Hotel in New Orleans, reports E! who shared some exclusive photos from the nuptials.

Criss, who turned 32 earlier this month and known for making daring choices with his formal wear, kept it classic in a handsome white tuxedo, with a white bow tie and black patent leather shoes rounding out the look. Swier, also kept it relatively simple wearing a sleeveless white dress with a corset-like top and a flowing tulle skirt. Obviously aiming for comfort and as a nod perhaps to her punk-rock roots, she stepped out in white boots.

Check out some of the photos of the happy couple as they head off into married life in style… a red Rolls Royce convertible.
