Black Panther, This Is Us, And The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Win Big At The 2019 Screen Actors Guild Awards

The actors have had their say last tonight, and it was marvelous to say the least.

The Screen Actors Guild Awards were given out Sunday evening, much to the delight of Hollywood. A lot of faves and a lot of surprises were revealed as winners.

There’s definitely a sense of “out with the old and in with the new” with the winners as there are a lot of first timers and fresh faces walked home with the beloved drama mask of honour. Amazon, to the surprise of many, got some of its stars included in the major categories in television as it walked away with some of the evening’s biggest awards.

On the film side, the comicbook genre finally got some love as Black Panther took the prize for Best Ensemble in a Motion Picture, strengthening the odds in its favor to take home the Best Picture Oscar next month.

The field was also a bit more diverse with the winners this year, a far cry from last year’s group.

The Screen Actors Awards are one of the few awards that are voted on by all the wonderful talent that are a part of SAG-Aftra.

Check out the winners below and see if your favorites made the cut!
