Parks And Recreation Cast To Have 10 Year Reunion At PaleyFest

Parks and Recreation was some of the best, good for the soul, comfort television that was out there. Created by Mike Schur, the series about the titular department in Pawnee, Indiana ran for seven seasons on NBC.

It was consistently funny series that evolved into a show about acceptance, love, hope, and family. Also, dear God, we want Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler) to be President now. We don’t care if she’s fictional, just give it to her.

The series premiered in 2009, which is insane to believe. Ten years after the premiere, PaleyFest LA announced that the cast would reunite for 10 year anniversary of the series.

Not that surprising, to be honest, the Parks and Rec cast remains super close to each other, even after the series ended in 2015.

In joint statement from Schur and Poehler, they even gave a little nod to this.

“We’re thrilled to be reuniting at PaleyFest. And truth be told, we were all hanging out already anyway, so carpooling will be easy.”

It’s unknown which cast members will be available for the event. Though we do hope that we get to see all of them reunited.

Other panels confirmed for Paleyfest LA are This Is Us and Pose. The full panel listing will be announced on January 14th.

PaleyFest LA takes place March 15th-24th at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
