Captain Marvel’s Latest Trailer Makes It Known That The Hero We Need Is Her

With less than a 100 days to go before it premieres (not that we’re counting or anything), the Marvel gods have decided to bless us this holiday season with a brand new trailer for Captain Marvel, the 21st film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Get ready for some serious chills, Truebelievers, as the latest look into the upcoming film will leaving you wanting for more. We get to see the many powers that Carol Danvers possesses along with some more backstory about our hero’s journey before becoming the legend she is today.

We also get to see more of the villainous Skrulls along with a few shots of Jude Law’s mysterious character and Lee Pace’s return as the savage Ronan the Accuser.

Set in 1995,Captain Marvel follows Carol Danvers, a former U.S. Air Force fighter pilot, as she turns into one of the galaxy’s mightiest heroes and joins Starforce, an elite Kree military team, before returning home with new questions about her past and identity when the Earth is caught in the center of an intergalactic conflict between two alien worlds.

The film stars Brie Larson as Carol Danvers; joining her in the cast are Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan, Annette Bening, Clark Gregg, and Jude Law.

Thankfully, there isn’t that much time to go until we get to feast our eyes on that movie as Captain Marvel is scheduled to be released in the United States on March 8, 2019, in IMAX and 3D.
