Most people would probably agree that Toy Story 4 feels a it unnecessary in the grand scheme of things.
Let’s be real, the film series had a perfect capper with Toy Story 3. Either way, we’re getting a fourth film with our favorite characters and a new one.
This poor guy is pretty darn neurotic. Granted, he is a spork with pipe cleaner arms and googly eyes who has been made into a toy. Plus, he’s voiced by Tony Hale (Arrested Development, Veep) who has a type of neurotic character that he plays very well.
The first teaser trailer goes right into things, sort of it. The toys such as Woody (Tom Hanks), Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen), Jessie (Joan Cusack), and the others are dancing along in a circle of joy. Then we get to Forky, who screams, “I DON’T BELONG HERE!” and runs away screaming. This leads to everyone colliding on each other.
The film’s general plot goes like this, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
“The fourth installment of the franchise catches viewers up with Woody (Tom Hanks) after one of his human owners, Bonnie, adds a new toy named Forky (Tony Hale) to her room. The toys embark on a road trip adventure that shows them just how big and exciting the world can be.”
It certainly looks like things are going to get wild.
Toy Story 4 hits theatres June 21st, 2019.
