If you are one of the millions of people in the world who are anxiously awaiting for Avengers 4 to drop, I would love to tell you that it is just around the corner but it sadly, we still have many months to go. Marvel, however, has taken it upon itself to help us countdown the days until Avengers 4 hits the theater.
That’s right; Marvel announced this week that if you go to its website, you can have your own countdown clock that will give you the exact days and hours that you still have to go until you can see how Infinity War will all end. This is not the first time the studio has provided fans with a countdown of sorts to enjoy. It also just recently launched a countdown clock for the sequel to the Spider-Man film.
In May, Marvel Cinematic Universe fans were rocked to their cores as many of their favorite characters were on the receiving end of the infamous Thanos snap, which took out half of the world’s population. Since then, fans have been wild with speculation about how their favorites will come back to the screen, if at all.
There are tons of theories out there right now, which if you hit up your local Tumblr you can read about or even check out Reddit. Mind you, this is all speculation because as of today, an official trailer has not been released for the still-untitled Avengers 4.
The studio is not completely cruel to fans though. In March, Captain Marvel will be released to help tide us over as we wait for Avengers 4. Captain Marvel is one very highly anticipated film as it gives us the very first female superhero film for the studio. Also, if you recall, Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) was teased in a post end credits scene. She may just be the one to finally take down Thanos (Josh Brolin) for good.
Avengers 4 is slated to hit theaters on May 3rd, 2019.
