Into The Depths: Aquaman Drops 7 New Character Posters

Credit: Warner Brothers

In over a month, we’ll be going under the sea.

So to speak, anyway.

Aquaman will hit theatres on December 21st. With all the drama behind the scenes with Warner Brothers and DC Films, we’re curious to see where this film will stand amongst them. Honestly? It looks like a fun popcorn flick. We don’t think we’ll be too disappointed.

(Plus it’s Jason Momoa possibly wet and shirtless for a good portion of the film. We’re not complaining either way.)

The trailers have run it’s course. Now it looks like that the film is dropping it’s character posters for the film’s significant characters. We have Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry, Amber Heard as Mera, Nicole Kidman as Queen Atlanna, Dolph Lundgren as King Nereus, Willem Dafoe as Vulko, Patrick Wilson as King Orm, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta.

The film follows the life of half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry as he wrestles with his dual identity. Meanwhile, in the oceans below, the Atlanteans are planning a revolt against the surface world. Now it’s up to Arthur to claim Atlantis from his villainous brother, Orm.
