Frozen 2 Release Moved Up To Mid November 2019

Just when we thought we might finally be able to let go of Elsa and her sister Anna, Disney reminds us that a sequel to their smash hit Frozen is coming our way. Not only that, but it’ll be here sooner than expected with a reshuffling of the Disney schedule.

Originated slated for a November 27 2019 release, Frozen 2 will now hit cinemas on November 22. Beware those with kids, that’s conveniently just before the holiday period. Save up to fill those stockings with yet more merch.

Heading back to Arendelle are Idina Menzel and Kristen Bell who are both reprising their roles as Queen Elsa and Princess Anna, along with Josh Gad as everyone’s favourite summer-loving snowman Olaf. Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck will head behind the cameras once again.

Two new faces rumoured to be joining in on the fun are Evan Rachel Wood and This Is Us’ Sterling K. Brown. Unfortunately, we still do not know if Jonathan Groff will be returning as the lovable Kristoff.

With a slew of catchy songs, including the Oscar-winning and ever-popular “Let It Go” and “Do You Want To Build A Snowman?”, you can pretty much guarantee that the sequel will also deliver some more of the same.
